Responsibilities
  • Provide direction, consultation, and support for all supply chain operations functions for the assigned region.
  • Provide interpretation and administration of policies for the team.
  • Act as the supply chain operations liaison with various departments and groups, and attend monthly updates and weekly Tier Huddles with regional leaders.
  • Facilitate and act on operations objectives aligned with organizational goals, ensuring the supply chain team provides customer service to internal and external customers.
  • Develop, administer, align, and monitor regional supply chain operations tactics, ensuring regional performance supports system strategies that fulfill community needs for quality health care.
  • Ensure development, implementation, and standardization of supply chain operations processes in logistics, warehousing, distribution, and inventory management across the assigned region.
  • Oversee the development of systems and processes to continually improve operational performance.
  • Create and maintain an environment that encourages improvement of the quality and scope of supply chain operations services across the organization.
  • Oversee human resource management for the assigned area and create a culture of employee engagement.
  • Ensure Human Resource policies are administered consistently across the function.
  • Organize departmental areas through appropriate structure and delegation of functions.
  • Identify succession planning needs.
  • Direct and monitor supply chain automation innovations and collaborate with executive and clinical leaders to ensure supply chain operations are well developed and maintained.
  • Develop and implement financial improvement plans to drive efficiencies and cost savings.
  • Direct the resolution of supply chain issues related to integration and consolidation functions within the assigned region in conjunction with peers and the Vice President, Supply Chain Operations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
