  • Degree in safety management, industrial hygiene, environmental science, or relevant field with 5+ years professional level H&S management experience

Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, maintain, and continually improve proactive Health and Safety programs
  • Review programs, policies, plans, and specifications to ensure EHS compliance
  • Stay informed on federal, state, and local regulatory requirements
  • Provide guidance to the local Site Leadership Team for compliance
  • Evaluate and identify standards and controls for safety and health hazards
  • Monitor compliance with regulations and company standards
  • Provide day-to-day health, safety, industrial hygiene and environmental support and guidance to facility personnel
  • Perform EHS inspection audits and review investigation reports
  • Responsible for injury reporting, investigating, and tracking system
  • Responsible for classroom training programs in terms of scheduling and conducting training
  • Review and approve JHAs/PTPs to maintain a consistent safe work environment
  • Create site-specific safety procedures or work instructions
  • Assist in the assurance of compliance with internal and client-related audit programs
  • Drive the implementation of programs and initiatives to foster a strong EHS culture
  • Complete and review legal requirements and risk assessments regularly
  • Manage all EHS programs as it relates to JLL staff and subcontractors
  • Lead and develop an EHS Specialist
  • Compile, analyze, and interpret statistical data for corrective action
  • Maintain liaison with client EHS organization
Desired Qualifications
  • 1st Aid, CPR & AED Instructor training a plus
  • Previous experience working in life sciences environment desired
  • Experience with FDA a plus
