  • Formal training or certification on technology development concepts and 5+ years applied experience.
  • 2 + years of experience leading technologists to manage and solve complex technical items within your domain of expertise
  • Strong experience in technology development & leading teams
  • Hands-on programming experience in Java, multithreading, REST, Spring boot, Spring framework, Kafka & AWS technologies/ services.
  • Experience implementing large scale, highly available Java applications using microservices.
  • Experience in building, orchestrating, and deploying highly scalable REST-based stateless APIs/web services for web applications.
Responsibilities
  • Execute software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with the ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems.
  • Strong Experience in interacting with Trading desk and Operations; understanding workflows and designing solutions.
  • Strong Experience in handling a 5-6 member team and supporting/ mentoring team members.
  • Create secure and high-quality production code and ensure timely and high-quality delivery of software solutions.
  • Drive innovation and adaptation of best practices within the team.
  • Enhance existing systems by analyzing business objectives, preparing action plans, and identifying areas for modification and improvement.
  • Manage defect tracking systems, resolve issues, and prepare updates for systems.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with Oracle Database, and PL/SQL is big plus
  • Experience with CICD tools such as Jenkins and deployment automation tools.
  • Experience with unit test automation frameworks such as Junit
  • Experience with version control software (Git Hub/Bitbucket)
