Requirements
  • Experience 2-6 yrs
  • Accounting experience from IFRS environment (ACCA, CIMA, CPA is an asset)
  • A good understanding of Revenue Recognition and Project Accounting
  • Good understanding of Professional Services, Consulting business in cloud based business
  • Experience with working with non-finance stakeholders (External customers, business representatives, cross-functional projects)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • The aptitude to prioritize many complex tasks and working independently in order meet deadlines and work with a remote team
  • A track record of identifying process gaps and ineffective and driving the resolution of issues.
Responsibilities
  • Providing the financial review of all booked standalone and bundles Services contracts with special focus on higher dollar value contracts and help in structuring more complex contracts containing Services elements.
  • Assisting Sales, Sales Ops, Services departments, DSA in all finance related aspects of Services in line with company policy and SOX process including the Finance T&C’s when necessary and dedicated to an assigned territory consisting of a GEO, Region, Country or District.
  • Finance business partnering to the services operations team in terms of reporting and analytics of the Services organization.
  • Consulting, informing and supporting the forecasting process.
  • Performing the quarterly PS Standalone Selling Price analysis for an assigned territory consisting of a GEO, Region, Country or District and providing the results to the GSS business and advising on actions to be taken to maintain IFRS compliance.

Companies investing in artificial intelligence will face increasing pressure to demonstrate returns on their investments in 2025 and beyond, according to Hitachi Vantara CTO for AI Jason Hardy. “ROI is going to be very important,” Hardy, who leads AI at the digital transformation arm of Japanese multinational firm Hitachi Global, told PYMNTS in an interview. While he doesn’t expect overall AI investment to decrease, Hardy believes the level of future funding will increasingly depend on demonstrable results. A 2024 PYMNTS Intelligence report validates his observations. While most CFOs surveyed were using generative AI for increasingly core business tasks, such as financial reporting, only 13% saw a “very positive” ROI.
