Requirements
  • Due to federal contract, Security Clearance required (Secret)
  • Due to federal contract, must be US Citizen, and residence within the US is required.
  • Due to federal contract, work must be performed in the US.
  • 1 or more years of experience in Oracle 11, Oracle 12 and Oracle 19C, as well as working with and supporting Agile processing
  • 1 or more years of experience in Data Guard and standby server operation, Linux and Windows Server
  • 2 or more years of experience in IT
Responsibilities
  • Database administration on Oracle servers
  • Install database scripts and software applications on both database and web application servers
  • Analyze and define database and security requirements
  • Develop database queries and apply patches in test and patch environment
  • Coordinate with Testers and Test Leads for backup, rollback and recovery plans
  • Configure, maintain, and support databases in an enterprise operations environment per application instructions or requirements
  • Support Data-at-Rest encryption (TDE)
  • Support Oracle Golden Gate and Dataguard
  • Interface with the production support team and software developers to resolve daily database issues
  • Troubleshoot issues stemming from a wide range of errors including problematic database scripts, IIS configuration, Windows application errors, etc.
  • Support of RAC databases
  • Experience upgrading Oracle from lower databases to 19C or above
  • Familiarity with PL/SQL coding and ability to troubleshoot PL/SQL code
