Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university as recognized by the United States Department of Education and/or the Council on Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA)
  • Five to seven years of related professional experience
  • Five to seven years of supervisory experience
  • Three to five years of management experience
  • Credentials must be obtained prior to the employment start date
  • In lieu of a bachelor’s degree, four additional years of relevant experience may qualify for the position
  • In lieu of a bachelor’s degree, an associate's degree plus two additional years of relevant experience may qualify for the position
  • Substantial professional experience in the Registrar’s Office, with supervisory and managerial responsibilities affecting office staff and the university community
Responsibilities
  • Provide direct oversight and management of the Scheduling unit in the Office of the Registrar and indirect supervision of the block enrollment function and the Curriculum unit.
  • Oversee block enrollment via the efforts of an Enrollment Coordinator in coordination with building and maintaining the class schedule to ensure responsiveness to the needs of new and continuing students.
  • Supervise the work of the Assistant University Registrar for Curriculum and Academic Services and the staff of the Curriculum unit.
  • Collaborate with the University Registrar to set annual goals that align with Top Tier initiatives and SVPAA mission and identify and track core metrics to assess success.
  • Contribute to enrollment growth and promoting equitable student success by addressing systemic obstacles and implementing strategic services, programs, and support.
  • Demonstrate commitment to campus values and inclusive and equitable access, professionalism, collegiality, collaboration, ethics, transparency, and diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Perform some evening and/or weekend work and occasional travel as common for leadership roles in academic affairs
