Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Aviation Maintenance, or related fields with 8+ years of relevant experience in customer support, technical support, flight test, engineering, and/or airline power plant management, OR
  • Advanced degree in a related field with 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain visas/work permits/other immigration documents for legal employment in Australia.
  • Proficient in English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and leadership capabilities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Availability to support customers outside of normal work hours.
Responsibilities
  • Deliver technical and operational support to airline customers for various Pratt and Whitney engine models, including assistance outside of business hours.
  • Facilitate the onboarding of new airline customers by implementing Entry into Service processes.
  • Proactively investigate and collaborate with airlines to understand fleet issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Collect and maintain accurate data for airline customer, including updating internal digital tools.
  • Serve as the primary contact for addressing customers’ technical, operational, and business concerns.
  • Work with a full spectrum of airline company staff, interfacing frequently with personnel at various seniority levels.
  • Provide real-time information to customers and internal stakeholders with confidence.
Desired Qualifications
  • Previous experience in supporting airline customers as a Field Service Representative, Customer Support Manager, or Technical Service Engineer.
  • Engine troubleshooting experience.
  • Strong knowledge of P&W products and services.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and related applications.
