Atlassian is looking for a driven and creative Marketer to lead our Ecosystem Marketing team. As the go-to-market owner for the Atlassian Marketplace, developer platform, and technology partnerships, your role will be to guide the strategy and execution of our launches, programs, and overarching narrative.
We’re looking for someone who’s passionate about developers, partners, and the potential of an extensible platform to unlock customer value. You will lead the team in a wide range of GTM motions, from shaping Atlassian’s developer events to in-product cross-sell of apps to customers and delivering compelling marketing programs and benefits to partners.
This is a highly cross-functional role and holds a seat at the table in shaping the strategy of our products and platform. You will work with:
-Product marketing teams across Atlassian’s full portfolio (Jira Software, Confluence, Jira Service Management, and more) to integrate our ecosystem value in product and solution narratives
-The Partnerships team to leverage industry trends and strategic SaaS partner integrations
-Product management to bring market and customer insights that shape the roadmap
-Customer marketing to deliver compelling success stories
What you’ll focus on:
- Setting the direction for innovative product launches and other go-to-market strategies that produce effective content such as blogs, case studies, guides, and testimonials
- Using your product knowledge and understanding of our space to help product marketers to craft compelling value propositions for customers, developers, and partners
- Continuously improving product marketing processes and helping establish best practices for delivering stellar outcomes across campaigns, creative, and partner/sales enablement
- Nurturing and growing Atlassian’s developer community via consistent and compelling communications, campaigns, and incentives that demonstrate our platform value
- Shaping Atlassian’s technology partner programs and certifications to drive clear alignment and value delivered by the partner community to our growing cloud and Enterprise customer base
- Coaching and mentoring the Atlassian Ecosystem Marketing team
What you should have:
- A minimum of 8+ years of relevant experience with cloud developer platforms, B2B app marketplaces, or a related field
- People management skills with at least 2+ years’ of experience managing product marketers
- Proven ability to drive go-to-market strategy across marketing, field, and product, delivering complex programs of work and measurable impact in partnership with R&D
- Partner centricity and aptitude for shaping partner programs and co-marketing strategies
- Exceptional communication skills with prior experience in producing written content
- Strong presentation skills and ability to command an audience
- A coaching mindset; someone who loves to mentor and develop employees
Compensation
At Atlassian, we tie our base pay ranges to role and level. In the United States, that means your base pay ranges will fall into one of three geographic pay zones depending on your location. Our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:
Zone A: $160,365 - $245,900
Zone B: $144,329 - $221,400
Zone C: $133,103 - $204,100
Within each range, base pay is ultimately determined based on your skills, expertise, and experience. This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and/or equity.
