Requirements
  • Exceptional attention to detail - you must be able to accurately track inventory levels and stock movement, identify discrepancies, and closely monitor order status
  • Previous experience in inventory management and procurement for hardware
  • Passion for organizing objects and maintaining physical spaces
  • High level of maturity and common sense
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an appropriate blend of professionalism and friendliness
  • Exceptional negotiation skills
  • US drivers license with clean driving record
  • Must be able to pass criminal background check
Responsibilities
  • Manage procurement for AeroVect's engineering team - ensuring all purchase needs are being processed promptly, working with suppliers and shipping companies, and proactively preventing delays and disruptions
  • Review requisitions for accuracy and completeness, obtain required approvals, negotiate pricing, prepare and process. purchase orders
  • Provide purchasing support to contract manufacturers and suppliers to support the delivery schedule
  • Provide daily and weekly updates on order status, risks and risk mitigation activities
  • Maintain an accurate inventory of AeroVect's tools and components, and organize Aerovect's hardware workshop
  • Manage all inbound and outbound shipments
  • Manage AeroVect's physical facilities, including offices, warehouses, and testing spaces. Work with building managers to ensure prompt resolution of any issues
  • Assist the team with general administrative tasks as needed
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with overseas (especially China) procurement
  • Experience implementing and running inventory management software
  • Previous experience managing procurement for complex hardware projects
