Requirements
  • Registered Nurse (RN), with current, valid, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in state of operations (or reciprocity).
  • 2 years clinical experience of direct clinical care to the consumer.
  • 2 years experience as a case manager.
  • Leadership skills.
  • Knowledge of case management products, programs, procedures and trends.
  • Case Management Certification (URAC accredited certification) or obtain URAC accredited Case Management Certification within three years of directly supervising the case management process.
  • Incumbents with nursing licenses in positions/departments requiring multi-state licenses are required to obtain and maintain additional current, valid, and unrestricted applicable nursing licenses in other states as determined by management. Multi-state license fees will be provided by HCSC. Incumbents with other clinical licenses are not required to obtain multi-state licenses.

  • developing and implementing managed care policies and procedures related to case management
  • monitor and assist department in achieving goals
