Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary communications strategist and trusted advisor to the VP of Trust, CSO, and senior security leaders — owning the narrative framework and editorial standards for the Security organization
  • Develop high-impact materials for Board of Directors, senior leadership, and executive forums — including security briefings, governance updates, strategic narratives, and speaker notes
  • Translate complex security strategy, risk posture, and performance data into clear, accurate, and compelling narratives for non-technical senior audiences
  • Build and manage the security communications calendar, establishing proactive, predictable communication rhythms that replace reactive messaging with strategic planning
  • Partner with Corporate Communications, Legal, and Trust stakeholders to ensure messaging is accurate, timely, and aligned during both steady-state operations and high-impact events
  • Support incident-related communications by providing coordinated, confidence-preserving executive guidance — complementing the team's existing reactive incident communications function
  • Develop and manage flagship transparency and trust assets for customers and external stakeholders — including an annual security report and executive-level customer presentations — translating security performance data into relevant, confidence-building insights
  • Create proactive customer-facing security communications including trust updates, security posture summaries, and capability announcements
  • Partner with sales, customer success, and Trust teams to develop security content that supports customer conversations, enterprise engagements, and external inquiries
  • Collaborate with Security Operations, Engineering, Risk, and GRC teams to ensure external content accurately reflects the organization's real-world security posture and controls
  • Safeguard customer confidence by ensuring all external communications are accurate, appropriately scoped, and aligned with legal and compliance requirements
  • Define and lead the enterprise security enablement and awareness strategy, aligned to trust, risk, and business priorities
  • Develop programs that improve associate understanding of security risks, responsibilities, and expected behaviors
  • Position security as a foundational element of customer trust, transparency, and operational excellence
  • Lead the creation of security awareness campaigns, content, and resources that are engaging, practical, and audience-appropriate for technical and non-technical associates
  • Translate complex security and risk topics into clear, human-centered language accessible to all levels of the organization
  • Introduce and evolve channels, tools, and processes that increase the reach, relevance, and effectiveness of security messaging across a global workforce
  • Collaborate closely with Security Operations, Engineering, Risk, GRC, and Trust teams to ensure awareness efforts reflect real-world threats, controls, and customer expectations
  • Partner with Associate Success and Learning teams to embed security awareness into broader culture, onboarding, and leadership programs
  • Oversee phishing simulation programs as a key tool for measuring and improving associate security behaviors, using results to inform awareness strategy and content priorities
  • Support incident-related communications by enabling clear, calm, and coordinated associate guidance when needed
  • Define success metrics for communications, engagement, and awareness programs (e.g., adoption, comprehension, behavior change, content quality) and establish a regular reporting cadence
  • Analyze performance data and audience feedback to refine content, cadence, and delivery approaches across all communication streams
  • Continuously improve program efficiency, quality, and time-to-value through simplification, modernization, and data-driven decision-making
  • Manage program budgets and vendor relationships, ensuring efficient resource allocation and on-time delivery

  • Background producing flagship external content assets such as annual security reports or executive-level customer presentations
  • Background partnering with Legal, Corporate Communications, HR, and Trust functions
  • Familiarity with metrics-driven program management and continuous improvement
  • Experience using AI tools to drive communications production efficiency and quality at scale
  • Comfort operating in high-visibility or high-pressure situations, including security incidents or trust-impacting events
