Responsibilities
  • Lead the creative development of new business opportunities, including pitch strategy, messaging, concept development, and presentation creation.
  • Partner with agency leadership, Strategy, Account, and Medical teams to identify and pursue growth opportunities across existing and prospective clients.
  • Develop compelling narratives and agency positioning that communicate BGB's value proposition, capabilities, and strategic thinking.
  • Lead and coordinate multiple workstreams within each pitch opportunity, including briefing cross-functional teams, managing timelines, facilitating creative reviews, driving stakeholder alignment, and ensuring contributors remain focused on a unified strategic and creative vision.
  • Build consensus across Creative, Strategy, Medical, Account, Business Development, and Executive Leadership teams to align contributors with a shared vision and business objective.
  • Take entrepreneurial ownership of opportunities by identifying needs, removing obstacles, and driving projects from initial pursuit through final presentation.
  • Serve as a confident and polished presenter in client meetings, pitch presentations, workshops, and agency marketing initiatives.
  • Ensure all pitch materials and business development deliverables are accurate, strategically sound, visually cohesive, and production-ready for client-facing environments.
  • Maintain high standards of execution across presentations, narratives, and supporting materials.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of healthcare communications, therapeutic area dynamics, industry trends, and client business challenges.
  • Translate complex scientific, clinical, and commercial information into persuasive stories tailored to client needs.
  • Act as a senior creative advisor throughout the business development process, shaping solutions that align with client objectives and agency strengths.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Medical, Strategy, Account, Creative, and Executive Leadership teams to develop integrated recommendations and growth strategies.
  • Contribute to agency thought leadership initiatives, marketing efforts, and strategic planning activities designed to elevate BGB's profile and market presence.
  • Partner with brand teams during periods of lower new business activity on high-touch creative assignments, brand development initiatives, messaging platforms, campaign concepting, and other strategic creative opportunities.
  • Mentor and support junior and mid-level creative team members.

BGB Group, a commercial solutions company for biopharmaceutical firms, has acquired Hayden Consulting Group, a market access and patient services consultancy. Financial terms were not disclosed. Hayden specialises in resolving complex payer, reimbursement and affordability challenges for global pharmaceutical brands. The acquisition combines Hayden's market access expertise with BGB's strategic advisory services, which span commercial due diligence, new product planning and go-to-market strategies. Hayden will continue to be led by co-founders Jamie Sidore and David MacDougall, becoming part of BGB's strategic advisory practice headed by Hilary Gentile. The combined entity aims to provide clients with integrated solutions across the full brand lifecycle, from early planning through commercialisation.
