Requirements
  • The candidate must have at least 5 years of IT industry experience.
  • The candidate must have at least 5 years of experience working in a multi-site, widely distributed office environment.
  • The candidate must have a strong technical background, including working knowledge of network management protocols, networking architecture, authentication practices, access control systems, security cameras, and other physical security systems.
  • The candidate must demonstrate technical knowledge of data systems security procedures and familiarity with systems hardware and software.
  • The candidate must have customer service and communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical issues to non-technical people.
  • The candidate must have a multifaceted IT background and the ability to manage daily operations while progressing short- and long-term projects.
  • The candidate must keep abreast of industry security trends, developments, and applicable government regulations.
  • The candidate must be able to multitask, balance, and prioritize multiple issues at multiple locations.
  • The candidate must be self-motivated and able to work independently with little supervision.
  • The candidate must be able to travel to other regional locations for work, training, meetings, and other work-related activities exceeding 10%.
  • The candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment while handling multiple daily tasks.
  • The candidate must communicate issues, solutions, and ideas across the information technology department to support cross-training, handoffs, and escalations.
  • The candidate must have mobility within the office and be able to use a computer, scanner, copy machine, and other office machinery.
  • The candidate must be able to independently lift and carry supplies or equipment weighing up to 25 pounds.
  • The candidate must have a valid driver's license or the ability to commute to offices, sites, and conferences.
  • The candidate must use a personal mobile device, with reimbursement provided by the company.
  • The candidate must be able to clear additional background checks for military base access.
Responsibilities
  • Provide on-site and remote support for a Windows-based computer network.
  • Respond to general information technology inquiries, answer questions, create tickets, and troubleshoot issues.
  • Monitor and maintain the web help desk ticket queue.
  • Use remote access tools and phone support to guide customers through problem-solving processes.
  • Operate and support firewalls, user management, and information technology equipment daily.
  • Document changes to the overall network.
  • Identify and recommend new technology solutions.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the office setup and the equipment contained within it.
  • Assist with system upgrades, implementation, and maintenance when required.
  • Stay current with systems changes and updates.
  • Communicate with the technology team and other departments as collaboration requires.
  • Guide and support the implementation of new software and hardware.
  • Perform other responsibilities as required.
