Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, maintain, and enhance n-tier Windows/Web applications to support insurance and financial services businesses using C#, .Net, Web APIs (REST/JSON), .Net Core, SOLID Principles, LINQ, Entity Framework, Responsive Web Design, User experience design, User Flows, Strong comprehension of CSS principles, UI Testing, knowledge of CSS processors and build tools, CSS frameworks preferably Tailwind, .net UI frameworks (Razor/Blazor), and knowledge/experience implementing Single Sign-On technologies such as OICD and OAuth2.
  • Adhere to agreed-upon standards and tools to ensure consistency and achieve well-engineered results.
  • Perform data analysis and troubleshooting quickly and accurately to minimize software issues and ensure data integrity. Build unit tests as new modules are created and modify existing unit tests as changes are made.
  • Provide data analysis, designs, and modeling for new software solutions based on a detailed understanding of business processes. Produce relationship diagrams, entity descriptions, and data structures to present solutions to peers and business end users in an easy-to-understand way.
  • Collaborate with Business Stakeholders, Business Analysts, and other IT groups to define and recommend software solutions that are scalable, maintainable, and efficient to meet or exceed business unit expectations.
  • Occasionally required to work late evenings and weekends as needed.
