Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience in the wastewater treatment industry, primarily focused on customer accounts and sales.
  • Technical knowledge of wastewater treatment plants, including experience in food and beverage, mining, oil and gas, or a related industry.
  • Residence in Eastern Washington.
  • Willingness to travel 30–50% throughout the region.
  • A clean driving record and valid driver's license.
  • A local state driver's license and proof of insurance by the time of hire.
  • Ability to perform the stated physical duties, including handling or operating objects, tools, or controls; reaching; standing; talking; hearing; walking; and occasionally lifting or moving objects.
  • Successful completion of a background check.
Responsibilities
  • Generate and execute sales plans with new and existing customers to achieve growth targets.
  • Work with current and prospective customers to understand business needs and recommend continuous improvement and innovation strategies that drive sales growth.
  • Develop relationships with key stakeholders, including plant and facility executives, to foster long-term partnerships.
  • Provide on-site and virtual technical support to customers by identifying and resolving challenges and escalating issues as needed.
  • Support clients with repairs and maintenance for chemistry and equipment programs.
  • Conduct system analyses, interpret data, and provide written recommendations to support optimal customer operations.
  • Provide customer training on Cesco products, verify proper application equipment functionality, and troubleshoot operational issues.
  • Promote and support Cesco innovations and technology within assigned accounts.
  • Travel locally and throughout the region as needed.
Desired Qualifications
  • Five to ten years of experience selling chemical solutions.
  • Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, or a related field.
