- 1 year of industry-related experience
- Experience supporting lab equipment or similar
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

- Respond to instrument failures and ensure proper instrument function
- Diagnose and troubleshoot system concerns to minimize downtime
- Install new laboratory equipment
- Coordinate and perform instrument installations and qualifications
- Work with Quality Assurance for instrument qualifications and maintenance
- Maintain program for preventative maintenance, routine maintenance, and calibration
- Perform troubleshooting activities and provide Level 1 service
- Recommend and implement changes for high-quality performance
- Track service activities and maintain documentation
- Work with PHI and comply with relevant safety and regulatory bodies
- Complete training relating to HIPAA/PHI privacy and security
- Coordinate duties with Equipment Technician
- Perform other tasks as specified by supervisor/manager
