Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience with health, safety and environmental, safety, and/or program and process management.
  • At least 2 years of experience in health, safety and environmental and/or risk management.
  • Experience working in high-hazard industries.
  • Experience proposing and building new programs from the ground up.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to address difficult questions.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
  • Regular, on-time attendance.
  • Ability to travel 30% of the time.
  • Ability to use office equipment such as a computer, copier, and telephone.
  • Ability to use office computer programs such as email, Google Docs, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Ability to drive a non-commercial vehicle and possess a valid driver's license.
  • Ability to work occasionally in outdoor weather conditions, traverse uneven surfaces, remain stationary while standing or sitting for prolonged periods, ascend or descend ladders and similar structures, move between worksites, stoop, crouch, and reach overhead or at shoulder level.
  • Ability to participate in the on-call rotation.
Responsibilities
  • Complete incident reports, perform post-accident investigations, and communicate learnings across business groups.
  • Complete the interview process and investigation steps for management review.
  • Advise workers on safety policies and procedures.
  • Answer support tickets within Zendesk and Zoom Phone.
  • Attend and participate in client safety meetings and perform site audits.
  • Participate in client audits as the safety subject matter expert.
  • Resolve internal and external escalations in a timely manner.
  • Participate onsite in reviewing safety measures, including in high-hazard situations.
  • Analyze loss data, identify trends, and make recommendations to improve safety outcomes.
  • Create and maintain reporting, policies, and programs.
  • Coordinate with legal, the people team, field operations, and worker experience to roll out HSE initiatives and programs in the field.
  • Measure the impact and success of HSE initiatives in partnership with field representatives.
  • Support the vendor pre-qualification process by completing documents including OSHA 300 logs, EMR data, and workers' compensation liability certificates.
  • Stay abreast of current and emerging industry trends and marketplace best practices.
  • Make recommendations to management regarding programs and processes to increase RigUp's competitiveness in the marketplace.
