Requirements
  • Strong expertise in bioinformatics, clinical data science, or a related field.
  • Experience with biomarker and/or genomic ontologies or terminologies.
  • Familiarity with healthcare ontologies or terminologies, including ICD, SNOMED, and LOINC.
  • Experience evaluating and ensuring data quality, including completeness and accuracy.
  • A collaborative mindset, eagerness to learn, and high-integrity work ethic.
Responsibilities
  • Work cross-functionally to perform source-to-target mappings between incoming data, such as electronic health record data, and the data model.
  • Help develop scalable models to automate source-to-target data mapping.
  • Evaluate and validate data from various sources to ensure accuracy, completeness, and reliability.
  • Contribute to the development and extension of ontologies, vocabularies, and data standards that underpin the platform.
  • Identify and evaluate informatics tools, databases, and content sources to enhance the product user experience.
  • Perform quality control checks and become proficient in querying data stored in the regulatory-grade platform.
  • Provide critical input into the design of data architectures, algorithms, and analysis workflows.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with oncology research or clinical genomic applications.
  • Experience with data science tools and programming languages such as Python, R, and SQL.
