Harry Singh exits Reacon, rejoins FUJIFILM BI aust. 28 July, 2026 Former Reacon Australia CEO Harry Singh has stepped down from his role following the completion of a planned leadership transition at the company. As a result, Singh has now rejoined FUJIFILM Business Innovation (BI) Australia as national sales manager within its Graphic Communications business. In the established role, Singh assumes its responsibilities as part of a planned transition. He will report directly to FUJIFILM BI Australia Graphic Communications general manager Steve Fisher. In this national role, Singh's primary responsibility is leading and managing the sales specialist team within FUJIFILM BI Australia's direct channel. He will focus on driving sustainable business growth, supporting sales performance and developing strategic opportunities across the business. His scope will also involve working closely with FUJIFILM BI Australia's account management, technical, and service teams to understand customers' production, workflow, and application requirements, and to connect those needs with relevant technology and specialist support. A key priority will be strengthening collaboration across FUJIFILM BI Australia's commercial, specialist, technical and service teams, helping customers access the right expertise throughout their technology investment journey. Singh will also focus on developing the national sales specialist team and ensuring its expertise contributes to stronger customer outcomes and long-term business growth. Singh previously worked with FUJIFILM BI Australia in the Graphic Communications business before joining Reacon Group, where he held senior sales and leadership responsibilities, including head of sales and, most recently, CEO. Fisher said, "To say we are delighted to welcome Harry back to FUJIFILM BI Australia is an understatement. He is well known and highly respected across the Graphic Communications industry, and brings strong technical knowledge, commercial experience, and established customer relationships. "Importantly, Harry returns with an even broader perspective from his time on the customer side of the industry. He has a deep understanding of the investment decisions and operational pressures print businesses manage every day. That experience, combined with our commitment to delivering an exceptional end-to-end customer experience, makes him ideally suited to lead our national sales specialist team. "As we continue to focus on maximising value for customers - including through intelligent automation, specialty toner capabilities, and exceptional print quality - Harry's leadership will strengthen the support we provide to our salespeople and customers. It will also help us identify strategic opportunities and drive sustainable growth." Singh said, "I'm incredibly excited to be rejoining FUJIFILM Business Innovation Australia and working with Steve and our highly talented Graphic Communications team. "FUJIFILM BI Australia has a highly regarded portfolio, with a strong reputation for exceptional print quality, intelligent automation, and innovative capabilities. The opportunity to work with this technology, an experienced team, and customers across the industry made returning to the business an easy decision. "I return with an even greater appreciation of the customer experience and the factors Australian print businesses consider when investing in technology. "There is a real opportunity to draw on the breadth of expertise across our industry businesses to better understand and serve the evolving needs of print providers. Above all, we want to work alongside our customers as a long-term partner and contribute to the continued success of the Australian print industry." Reflecting on the journey at Reacon, Singh said the achievements belong to the people across the business. "The past 12 months have demonstrated what can be achieved when talented people work together with a shared purpose. Significant change is never easy, but our teams embraced the challenge and remained focused on delivering for customers while building a stronger organisation for the future," he said. "It has been a privilege to be part of this chapter in the company's history. I am incredibly proud of what the team has accomplished together and thankful for the support, commitment, and professionalism shown throughout the process." Vik Gulati, who has stepped back into the CEO role at Reacon, thanked Singh for his efforts. "Thank you, Harry Singh. The work you've done over the past 12 months has set Reacon up for exactly the kind of future we've been building towards. You leave the business in a far stronger position than you found it, and that's no small thing. The platform you've built is exactly what we needed to grow from. It's been a genuine pleasure - wishing you every success in what comes next," he said. Reacon recently announced the appointment of Vin Gulati as its new sales and growth lead. The company also installed Australia's first FUJIFILM Jet Press 1160CF continuous feed inkjet press Between May and June 2024, delivering offset quality output at digital speed.
Fujifilm business innovation achieves horizontal plastic recycling. FUJIFILM Business Innovation Corp. and Teijin Limited have jointly achieved horizontal closed-loop recycling for the exterior covers of multifunction printers. The newly developed process allows collected end-of-life printer covers to be recycled into new front covers that meet strict aesthetic and physical standards. FUJIFILM Business Innovation has always operated a closed-loop system to remanufacture printers. The company traditionally reused parts by cleaning them and applying a blasting process. Front exterior covers present a specific challenge because they require high visual quality. Covers with severe scratches could not undergo standard reuse processes and required replacement with newly manufactured parts. To keep these plastics in a continuous loop, the two companies developed a tailored recycling method. FUJIFILM Business Innovation uses a wet crushing technique, which washes the plastic components while crushing them to minimise contamination from foreign materials. Teijin then applies its advanced compounding technology to adjust the colour and restore the physical properties of the degraded plastic. This collaboration results in a material containing 80 percent recycled content that mirrors the appearance and durability of virgin plastic. The recycled plastic is currently applied to the remanufactured ApeosPort VII C R and ApeosPort C R series. This advancement is a shift from downcycling to horizontal recycling.
EXCLUSIVE: this is Fujifilm's second XF lens coming in september. Then, in June, - from lovely Sardinia - Fujirumors told you that one of the two lenses would be the successor to this lens here. Well, today Fujirumors can give you more details about what the second lens will be. According to its trusted sources, Fujifilm will launch an XF telephoto prime lens along with the Fujifilm X-T6, closing what the top Fujifilm manager called their biggest gap in the lens lineup. I am working on the details, but I need to sort out some conflicting reports before I can share additional - and accurate - details. So give me just a little bit more time. In the meantime, I also revisited the famous list of 10 lenses Fujifilm said were "under consideration." Notably, it doesn't include a single XF telephoto prime. That's yet another reminder that, contrary to what some claimed, this was never an official Fujifilm roadmap. Here on FujiRumors, Fujirumors warned you from the very beginning not to treat that list as one. And just out of curiosity, I looked back at pretty much all the telephoto lenses Fujifilm has patented so far, which are: But again: as Fujirumors explained in this article, patents mean close to nothing. A while ago Fujirumors looked at 67 Fujifilm patents and noticed not a single one was spotted before it materialized into a real product. And yet, just for fun, I was wondering, out of all those patents, which is the one you'd like to get. Feel free to vote the survey below.
