Requirements
  • GCSE or equivalent in English and Mathematics
  • general computer literacy including Word and Excel
  • knowledge of Safeguarding processes and procedures and health and safety awareness
  • ability to work well within a team and show initiative
  • friendly, reliable, and flexible attitude
  • good interpersonal skills, able to communicate well with peers, children’s parents/carers, and other professionals.
Responsibilities
  • supporting the staff in the setting with printing, photocopying, writing newsletters etc
  • keeping the web site up to date
  • ensuring parents complete funding forms and entering data into the provider portal
  • being responsible for issuing half termly invoices/statements to parents and collecting fees and issuing receipts
  • issuing parents with application forms when requested and keeping an accurate waiting list once these are received back
  • liaising with and supporting the Management Committee as requested
  • keeping records of all staff statutory training and booking courses as required
  • managing petty cash and card transactions when ordering all types of stock
  • supporting lunch times within The Playbox as required
  • maintaining complete confidentiality about children, families and staff.
