Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in environmental, safety or health discipline from an accredited institution
- 8+ years of environmental, health or safety experience in a manufacturing/research environment
- Experience with electrical safety
- Working knowledge of chemical processes
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications
- Experience in supporting EHS processes and administrative task
Responsibilities
- Develop, deploy and monitor all EHS programs, procedures, policies and standards in a manner that ensures compliance to Federal, State, Local, Customer and Corporate requirements
- Ensure systems are in place to achieve compliance with all OSHA and other regulatory agencies
- Conduct a job hazard analysis on existing procedures to develop best practices
- Coordinate and manage hazardous, non-regulated, universal, general waste and reduction programs
- Assess, track and analyze EHS program performance to identify risks and establish recommendations to alleviate hazards and leverage opportunities
- Drive continuous improvement in our safety culture
- Build out compliance and regulatory safety training and safety committees as well as our internal EHS audits, data generation and record retention
- Deliver annual reports on site environmental performance (waste and emission data) and safety performance in accordance with regulatory and corporate requirements
