6sense Internship Program:
6sense’s Internship program is a 10-week program designed to give you a look into 6sense’s dynamic culture and gain real world experience through project-based learning, mentorship, networking and learning and development opportunities alongside an intern cohort.
As an intern, you’ll be tasked with a solution-oriented project focused on solving a real challenge/problem the hosting 6sense department faces. Our interns will conduct research, engage in real work to address the challenge, and present their findings or outcomes with support from a senior leader sponsor.
About the team:
The data science team is at the core of 6sense engineering. Our data scientists are building models, manipulating big data, and working with APIs that are essential to the 6sense product. Our models inform smart email campaigns, website personalization, ad optimization, inside sales call lists, and go-to-market messaging. We influence how businesses spend millions of marketing and sales budgets.
Potential projects to showcase your talent as a Data Scientist Intern:
- Performing descriptive analysis to provide insight and support analytics initiatives;
- Working closely with Data Science team and provide data analysis and support for modeling initiatives;
- Participate in project meetings and contribute if/when possible
- Other ongoing data analytics work as needed
Qualifications:
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mathematics, Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics or other quantitative areas
- Course project or work experience in in data cleaning and preparation concepts and tools
- Knowledge in statistical libraries and frameworks for advanced analytics
- Some background in relational databases, data modelling and SQL
- Course project or work experience in Python, SQL and Data Visualization
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Able to work in a team and build effective relationships
- Highly motivated, self starter
