As an intern on the Revenue team, you will work closely with GitHub’s senior leaders to put developers - our customers - in a position to push the boundaries of what’s possible so they can make the world better. Our team is composed of talented individuals in Customer Success, Corporate Sales, Field Services, and Revenue Operations & Enablement. 

As a Revenue Intern at GitHub, we will teach you the ins-and-outs of the software development lifecycle, our products, and how we differentiate ourselves from the competition. You’ll learn how to research companies and engage with customers while working in a fast-paced, collaborative, and highly supportive work environment. Plus, you’ll have a little fun while you are at it!

• Join discovery calls with Sales Development Representatives to understand the qualification process, capture key feedback points in Salesforce.com, and assist as needed with a go-forward plan

• Creating and presenting a customer-facing webinar or virtual event series focused on topics of interest to you and our customers: research, pair with Solutions Engineers, and record/lead the session(s)
• Building automation using GitHub Actions and a familiar programming language to help with internal team processes and reporting
• Identifying and building out optimizations and improvements to existing internal tools and automation using technologies such as Typescript, Deno, Google Calendar API, etc.
• Building dashboards and performing data analysis based on our product and adoption data

• Assisting with the creation and management of end-to-end process documentation for customer-facing team consumption
• Industry research into Premium Support Discounts and pricing.

• Support ensuring process documentation is up to date
• Assisting with creating framework for change enablement, including training and communications
• Building Salesforce reports and performing data analysis around hygiene and investigating whether there are data holes

• Assist Revenue Enablement Learning & Development in building learning programs, workshops, and content. 
• Learn how to use learning creation and design tools to assist in the development of self-directed learning.

At the end of your internship, you will provide the Leadership team with a summary of lessons learned.

Required Qualifications:

• You are currently in the process of obtaining a Bachelor’s degree with an expected conferral date between December 2024 and August 2025 prior to starting at GitHub
• Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or similar area of study

• Experience or interest in coding

Minimum hourly rate of $25.75/hour to maximum $53.53/hour.

These pay ranges are intended to cover roles based across the United States. An individual’s base pay depends on various factors including geographical location and review of experience, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant. At GitHub certain roles are eligible for benefits and additional rewards, including annual bonus and stock. These rewards are allocated based on individual impact in role. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee’s role.

Location: In this role, you can work remotely from anywhere in the United States.
