Requirements

Responsibilities
  • Review and compare operational paperwork with reports from hotel and convention systems.
  • Manage guest folios and ensure that guest billings are provided on a timely basis.
  • Present a friendly and professional image at the hotel and casino.
  • Support, promote, and demonstrate customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality in departmental and company matters.
  • Provide guest service to all guests.
  • Identify, report, reconcile, and follow up on discrepancies.
  • Ensure billings are accurate for hotel services and guest folios for casino services.
  • Work with the Accountant to implement policies and procedures for revenues, cash inflows, credit card processing, and hotel and convention billings.
  • Prepare discrepancy reports for audit exception reports.
  • Secure and maintain original financial documents.
  • Verify revenue posting and paid-out documentation.
  • Assist with external audits by supplying requested documentation.
  • Review source documents for compliance with control standards and policies.
  • Retrieve original paperwork and separate it based on audits, then review it for accuracy.
  • Answer incoming telephone calls, determine their purpose, and forward calls to the appropriate personnel or department while maintaining professional telephone etiquette.
  • Record and deliver messages or transfer calls to voicemail when appropriate.
  • Welcome visitors, determine the nature of their business, and announce visitors to appropriate personnel while maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor.
  • Assist with inventory counts.
  • Assist with other audits as requested.
  • Follow established procedures and policies of the Oaklawn Racing Casino Resort.
