Requirements
  • Bachelors' degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical field.
  • 8+ years of related experience in IT Infrastructure and operational support in a large, global enterprise environment
  • Prior team lead experience is preferred.
  • Permit to work in Australia.
Responsibilities
  • Supervise the activities of an Operations Support Systems development team within the company.
  • Communicate and track progress toward company and departmental goals and initiatives, ensures team responsibilities are communicated and understood, and manages team performance.
  • Responsible for ensuring the appropriate redundancy and availability for OSS systems
  • Identifies, monitors, reports, solves and trends systems issues related to all OSS applications.
  • Provide leadership for the development, maintenance, and deployment of custom scripts to monitor enterprise application health, automation management of large-scale datacenter infrastructure deployments and integration of various tools vendor-provided APIs.
  • Communicate systems health to leadership and key OSS constituents complementing existing practices using trending analysis etc.
  • Provide input on the strategic direction of the business and related OSS platforms.
