Responsibilities:

• Actively record and summarize vehicle performance as the co-driver on test runs.
• Provide concise written and oral feedback and daily reports to the engineering teams, helping to identify areas of focus to maximize the efficacy of the teams’ work.
• Work closely with the engineering team to conduct field experiments.
• Independently operate our mapping vehicles and its systems on both private test facilities and public roads.

Required Skills:

• Previous experience with autonomous vehicles.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to maintain composure and excel in a fast-paced, variable environment.
• Responsible driver with clean driving history.
• At least 5 years’ experience of driving on US roads.
• BS/BA degree or equivalent preferred.
• Must be open to occasional travel.
• Willing to work occasional nights and weekends.

Preferred Skills:

• Some experience operating or scripting on a Linux system.
