Responsibilities:

• Actively record, communicate, and summarize in-vehicle performance as the right seater on all mission types.
• Properly set up complex missions and consistently execute on daily missions.
• Provide consistent feedback about test results at a high and granular level on all in-house applications. 
• Provide objective detail-oriented mission debriefs to the engineering teams by following debrief feedback classification and testing processes. 
• Effectively and efficiently communicate troubleshooting problems through a support system.
• Correctly follow existing and newly implemented processes to detail.
• Have the confidence to decline a test and know how to navigate difficult requests.
• Speak up in person and on in-house applications when applicable. 
• Know how to properly escalate testing issues through reporting forums and when to stop a test.
• Be open to working on tasks and projects that are outside of the scope of your daily role.
• Work closely with the engineering team to conduct field experiments.
• Independently operate our vehicles and its systems on both closed course  and public roads.
• Navigate public interactions by being able to talk about public knowledge company matters and goals. 

Required Skills:

• Previous experience with AV structure testing, development, release, and production testing mission types.
• Ability to read a structure testing mission plan, setup this mission type and execute on it.
• Strong understanding of operating or scripting on a Linux system at an autonomous testing operational level.
• Ability to maintain composure and excel in a fast-paced, variable environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Responsible driver with clean driving history.
• At least 5 years’ experience of driving on US roads.
• BS/BA degree or equivalent preferred.
• Must be open to occasional travel.

• Create Operations content on downtime - training programs, confluence pages, Google Doc, Google Slides, etc.
• Solution-oriented thinking through problem analysis
