Position           Trade Flow Support – Service Reliability Specialist

Main Responsibilities:

• Build and manage tooling for global trading platform readiness: pre-trading & post-trading checks
• Identify inefficiencies such as repetitive activities, manual processes, and suboptimum tools/workflows to drive continuous improvements via automation, collaboration with internal and external teams.
• Work closely with application and service owners to onboard new applications and services
• Lead knowledge transfer efforts between application owners and support team
• Manage the proprietary monitoring and alert management platform to eliminate unactionable alerts
• Intensive interaction with trading community, development and infrastructure teams
• Oversee automated processes, scheduled jobs, and regular reports

Candidate Requirements

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years‘ experience in developing tools in Python.
• Proficient in Linux OS and Bash
• Experience in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MS SQL)
• Detailed practical knowledge of FIX. Ideally, familiarity with native exchange protocols
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related subject.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Highly organized, detailed, control oriented, enjoys solving problems and brings in a "take charge" attitude
• Strong verbal/written communication skills required
• Self-motivated individual that takes initiatives and has an ownership & accountability mindset
• Experience with the Atlassian stack (JIRA, Service Desk, Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo), Elastic Stack and Prometheus
• Working knowledge with TCP/IP, multicast, tcpdump, clocking (PTP, NTP)
• Knowledge of ITIL
• Knowledge of C++ 
• Familiarity with Kdb+  
• Experience in Trade Flow Support
