Requirements
  • Current student or recent grad in HR focused post-secondary program
  • Have experience in training and development or have some related work experience
  • Highly proficient in the use of MS Office Suite, Internet browsers, PowerPoint and intermediate knowledge of Outlook
  • Superior communication skills, both oral and written
  • High degree of confidentiality and dealing with sensitive matters
  • Self-motivated, assertive, outgoing and eager
  • Good use of tact and judgment
  • Exceptional people skills, diplomacy, and a customer service focused attitude
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, flexible environment
  • Aptitude and desire for a career in Human Resources

Responsibilities
  • Have exposure and be trained on the career management process, communication of company policie, employee onboarding, and rewards and recognition
  • Assist in the coordination, preparation and execution of paperwork including new hire packages, employment verification and letters of employment
  • Organize and maintain HR content management system and employee files
  • Assist in communicating career management and other company processes
  • Partner with HR Director and HR Manager in working with internal departments to resolve employee issues
  • Serve as an information resource and liaison to employees and managers
  • Assume ad hoc tasks as necessary
Desired Qualifications
  • Knowledge of employment related laws and practices is a plus
