Data Engineer Intern

THE ROLE

We are seeking a passionate and inquisitive Data Engineer Intern to join our team and gain hands-on experience in building, maintaining, and optimizing data pipelines and infrastructure. As a Data Engineer Intern, you will play a crucial role in shaping our data-driven culture by ensuring the efficient and reliable flow of data across our organization.

YOUR IMPACT

• Assist senior Data Engineers in designing, developing, and implementing data pipelines

• Gather, transform, and load data from various sources into data warehouses and data lakes

• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline performance and ensure data quality

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into technical specifications

• Document data pipelines and procedures to ensure knowledge transfer and maintainability

• Stay up-to-date with emerging data technologies and best practices

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program and graduating by June 2025 in computer science, data science, or a related field

• Strong programming skills in Python, SQL.

• Familiarity with data pipeline tools (e.g., Data Factory, Airflow, Luigi) and cloud computing platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP)

• Experience with data quality methodologies and data transformation techniques

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

• Strong communication and collaboration skills

• Passion for learning and exploring new technologies
