Requirements
  • An Associate's Degree in culinary or hospitality, or equivalent work experience in the industry.
  • At least three years of culinary experience.
  • Proficiency with electronic communication, Microsoft Office Suite, and related industry systems.
Responsibilities
  • Facilitate and manage daily food preparation in the kitchen.
  • Ensure food is prepared, packaged, and shipped for portioning and service in compliance with recipe standards.
  • Ensure the kitchen is properly closed each day.
  • Execute food service and special events.
  • Ensure the quality and completeness of food production, adherence to timelines, and timely communication with relevant parties.
  • Maintain awareness of new food trends, catering delivery methods, ingredients, and plate-presentation trends.
  • Manage daily upkeep and organization of kitchen preparation areas, coolers, and freezers.
  • Rotate products through the planning process and assist with inventory and ordering.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in a large kitchen.
  • ServSafe Manager certification.
  • Allergen certification.
  • Willingness to obtain ServSafe Manager and Allergen certifications through the company's ServSafe training program.
