Vice President - Finance and Operations
We are on a mission to make healthcare more intuitive, accessible, and convenient and are searching for a Finance and Operations leader to help us accelerate our vision. Reporting to the CEO, this person will own the financial strategy for the organization and will be a key contributor to the executive team.
This role will require a broad strategic mindset, excellent executive presence and strong strategic financial planning process & system experience. This is a career defining opportunity for the business leader on track to become a CFO.
Key initiatives
- Dive deeply into the business with the CEO, BOD and leadership team to set the strategic vision, define and navigate the financial operations of the company.
- Lead the company’s core financial foundation and processes including FP&A, risk management, strategic sourcing, long-range and annual operating plans, periodic forecast updates and ongoing financial and key operating metric performance.
- Be the strategic partner for our GTM teams, oversee and lead value added financial analysis and revenue strategy and planning, and drive our business performance management reporting
- Build operational rigorincluding scalable systems of accountability and efficiency to ensure we are making rapid progress toward Amino’s revenue and business strategy.
- Partner with the leadership teams to ensure the organization’s staffing strategy is executed with efficiency and what it will take to scale.
Qualifications:
- We are a small company ready to scale and our ideal candidate brings experience leading financial and operational strategy from both the start-up and corporate world, and understands enterprise SaaS models related to healthcare, benefits or fintech.
- You’re experienced and able to think outside the box when it comes to financial modeling, business analysis, FP&A, business & product integration, and pricing models. You’re process oriented and able to build and optimize financial functions, systems and controls
- Knowledge of project management principles including the ability to lead and influence working others with tight timelines and multiple, potentially overlapping, priorities.
- You are a highly effective communicator, influential and bring proven relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders at every level.

- Expected base salary: $190k to $230k plus standard company benefits and a generous option grant.
Amino values transparency and has included the reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this full-time role at any approved US location. Individual pay is determined by a range of factors, including job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, licensure or certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Amino does not typically hire at or near the top of a salary range.

- This position, like all roles at the firm, will have a good deal of autonomy. We’re a remote-first team and have designed our culture for a balance of synchronous and asynchronous work with people operating from all over the country. To support your remote office, we provide every new Amino with a generous office set-up allowance plus a monthly stipend for internet/phone.
- PTO is non accrual and we expect Amino’s to take a minimum of 15 days a year.
