Position Overview:
As the Faculty Specialist at Becker, you will play a pivotal role in managing the end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes for faculty members. In this multifaceted position, you will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and selecting potential candidates while also providing operational support to ensure the smooth functioning of faculty-related activities and engagements. Collaboration with various internal teams, such as Sales, Product, Marketing, and Continuing Professional Education (CPE), will be essential to identify and onboard top talent effectively.
What You’ll Do
- Manage end to end recruiting and onboarding process for Becker faculty
- Source potential candidates through a variety of methods; online databases, academic networks, and industry events
- Screen potential applicant qualifications in connection with the job requirements and conduct initial candidate interviews
- Facilitate selection process, setting up peer interviews and interview debrief sessions
- Issuing contracts & statements of work for Becker Faculty
- Ability to develop dynamic job descriptions for Faculty instruction roles
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Product, and Marketing teams to identify potential recruits
- Work closely with CPE (Continuing Professional Education) team on Staff Levels Training instructor onboarding and development
- Function as a direct contact for Becker Faculty
- Facilitate accounts payable process for Faculty members including invoice submission and faculty travel expense reimbursement
- Approve invoices in Faculty management system
- Assist in managing CPE faculty (course recordings, live webcasts, live on-site engagements & rebroadcasts)
- Assist with scheduling of CPA classes (LiveOnline & Live) and tutoring sessions
- Scheduling monthly Educator Webinars
- Scheduling CPE Courses, CPA & CMA LiveOnline classes
- Staff Levels Training management
- Assist with licensing and maintaining faculty bios, state forms, and current faculty contact info
- Support in maintaining Faculty Resource Library
What You’ll Need to Succeed
- 5-10 years experience recruiting business professionals; experience in the accounting profession and/or higher ed preferred
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration or related field preferred
- Experience using LinkedIn and/or other sourcing platforms
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Demonstrated experience and ability with providing excellent and timely customer service
- Demonstrated experience coordinating a high-volume workload
- Experience in a faculty experience in an academic setting
