The Job

Sets up, runs, and adjusts extrusion equipment per specialized standards on multiple pieces of machinery and/or processes
Set up and operate extrusion equipment to produce plastic and fiber products according to specifications
Performs quality checks and examines product for defects and size variations
Fills out production documentation
Troubleshoot and resolve equipment problems as needed
Take action to ensure quality limits and efficiency targets are met

What we need from you

Minimum 2-4 years related experience in extrusion of plastics processing industry desired
Technical training related to industrial maintenance of production equipment
Communicate effectively (both verbally and written) english & french
Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills.
Ability to work well under pressure, both alone as part of a team.
Must be flexible in regard to manufacturing environment work schedules (weekends, overnights, 12-hr shifts).

Nice to have

Machining, welding, and tool & die training or experience
Self-motivated and capable of managing stressful situations
Desire to continue to grow and develop personally
Melt spinning, fiber polymer (not sheets), fiber extrusion
