Event Information:
Date: Tuesday, February 18th, 2025
Time: 8:00am-4:00pm EST (Walk-ins welcome!)
Interview Location: 705 28th St SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49548
What does the PCT role entail?
- Schedule of 3 to 4 days a week, including rotating Saturdays (Sundays off!)
- Average shift is 10 to 12 hours a day
- Start and end times for shifts are scheduled between 4:00AM to 8:00PM
- NO prior medical or dialysis experience required- we will train you!
- Responsibilities: provide care for up to 4 patients before, during and after dialysis treatment. *Please note you will be expected to work around blood and with needles*
- Support and build relationships with your team and patients
- 12 weeks of paid training for all new PCT teammates
What does a successful PCT look like?
- High School Diploma (HSD) or GED required
- Passionate about patient care and working hands-on in the healthcare field
- Team player, strong multi-tasking skills, ability to work in fast-paced environment
- Flexibility and availability to work early mornings, evenings, and Saturdays
- Medical experience a plus but NOT required for PCT candidates: hemodialysis certification (CCHT), nursing assistant (CNA), medical assistant (MA/CMA), phlebotomist (CPT)
- Eager to learn and grow!
What does the RN role entail?
- Rotating schedule of 3 to 4 days a week, including rotating Saturdays (Sundays off!)
- Average shift ranges between 10 to 14 hours a day
- Start and end times for shifts are scheduled between 4:00AM to 8:00PM
- Responsibilities: oversee a group of up to 16 dialysis patients, working with a team of up to 4 fully trained PCTs
- Paid dialysis training provided
What does a successful RN look like?
- Diploma/ADN /BSN in nursing with an active Michigan RN license required
- Must have a minimum one year hands-on nursing experience
- Experience working in a fast-paced, medical setting is ideal: e.g. ER, CCU, ICU, Med Surg, hospital, dialysis (Hemo, PD, HHD, CRRT)
- Confident working as floor lead, overseeing patients and supervising a team of PCTs
- Flexibility and availability to work early mornings, evenings, as well as Saturdays and holidays as needed
- Eager to learn and grow nursing experience
