The Strategic Partner Manager will play a key role in managing and optimizing trading partner relationships, focusing on enhancing data interoperability. This individual will own HHAeXchange’s relationships with various trading partners, such as clearinghouses, third-party EVV vendors, payers, providers, and state aggregators. Reporting directly to the Vendor Relationship Manager, the Strategic Partner Manager will build strong relationships with key partners by fostering open communication and trust, ensuring alignment on goals and priorities. They will work closely with Partners, Product, Engineering, Integration, and Customer Support to understand customer needs and integration challenges, advocating for solutions that create mutual value. This role requires strong negotiation skills, the ability to navigate complex discussions, and a talent for creating a collaborative rapport that drives successful, long-term partnerships.

Essential Job Duties
- Lead the partner experience and drive operational excellence with a targeted number of national partners.
- Build strong, lasting relationships with partners, collaborating cross-functionally with internal teams, including Operations Command Center, Integration & Configuration, Product, Engineering, and Technical Customer Care, to ensure alignment on best practices.
- Deliver value through proactive outreach, adherence to EDI standards, reduced rejection rates, and minimized provider and payer support escalations.
- Assist with the partner onboarding process, ensuring new partners are seamlessly integrated and equipped with the necessary resources and information.
- Leverage shared KPIs to optimize partner performance to enhance data interoperability.
- Proactively address and resolve partnership challenges, mitigating risks while providing partners with the needed resources and support.
- Act as the primary point of contact for executive-level stakeholders, subject matter experts, and technical leads within partner organizations.
- Maintain partner accounts in Salesforce, ensuring accurate and up-to-date documentation of vendor relationships and operational metrics.
- Expand trading partner interoperability relationship playbooks and knowledge base.

Required Education, Experience, Certifications and Skills
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and implement partnership strategies aligned with company goals.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Basic understanding of healthcare technology, data interoperability, or Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to learn and grow in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with data management or CRM systems is an advantage.
- Familiarity with healthcare regulations such as the 21st Century CURES Act or Medicaid revenue cycle (a plus but not required).
The base salary range for this US-based, full-time, and exempt position is $70,000 - $80,000 not including variable compensation. An employee’s exact starting salary will be based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, merit, location, and the ability to exemplify the HHAeXchange core values.
