Gearset provides DevOps tools for Salesforce environments, including deployment, automated backups, and continuous integration. Its platform helps teams manage Salesforce changes through metadata comparison, change monitoring, unit testing, and SFDX integration, all accessible via a subscription service. The product works by offering a cloud-based suite that detects differences in metadata, backs up data daily, runs tests, and automates deployment pipelines, with enterprise-grade security for data in transit and at rest. Gearset differentiates itself by focusing specifically on Salesforce DevOps, serving both small businesses and large enterprises, and delivering features like automated daily backups, metadata comparison, and seamless SFDX integration as part a single platform. The company’s goal is to make Salesforce deployments safer and faster by providing reliable, scalable tools that automate the build, test, and release process while protecting data.
