Requirements
  • 4–8 years of experience designing digital products, ideally with some experience in business-to-business or complex workflows.
  • Ability to simplify dense, technical workflows into interfaces that feel natural to use.

Responsibilities
  • Lead design for one or more product areas, such as billing tools, workflows, dashboards, or artificial-intelligence-based automation.
  • Work directly with users to understand how they work and what slows them down.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering to define problems, explore directions, and ship well-scoped solutions.
  • Create flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that balance usability with flexibility.
  • Build and maintain a design system as the product scales.
  • Help establish design culture, standards, and process as the team grows.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in healthcare, financial tools, internal tools, or operations software.
  • Familiarity with Figma, component-based design systems, and version control.
  • Previous work on tools that involve permissions, notifications, tasks, or queues.

Mr. Leahy is a nationally recognized leader in employee ownership and has piloted one of the nation's largest ESOPs through a period of rapid growth and development. As the current Executive Chair and former CEO of MyPath, he has led a provider of education, therapeutic, and community services for individuals with disabilities and other challenges. Through its 2,000 "Owners Who Care," MyPath delivers vital services at more than 150 locations across two states and consistently ranks among the top 100 of the nation's employee-owned organizations according to the National Center for Employee Ownership (NCEO). A respected thought leader, Mr. Leahy brings extensive expertise in ESOP governance, strategic leadership, and operations in industries at the intersection of law, public policy, and regulation. Under his leadership, MyPath earned recognition as Wisconsin ESOP of the Year in 2021. He has successfully navigated complex issues including CEO succession, corporate governance, and strategic diversification, while leading major initiatives in rebranding, strategic planning, and board expansion. Mr. Leahy's governance experience includes serving on the Board of Directors of the National Center for Employee Ownership (NCEO), where he spearheaded the formation of a peer networking group of ESOP executives in healthcare, and as Chair of the Board of Directors of NHS-Northstar, a 100% ESOP-owned human services provider. He also serves on the Professional Advisory Board of Enterprise Opportunities, LLC, a nationally recognized advisor to ESOP companies. He graduated from Princeton University with cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa honors and holds a Juris Doctor degree, magna cum laude, from Harvard Law School, and a Master's in Business Administration, with distinction, from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
