Job Responsibilities:

100% Instruction at the undergraduate and graduate levels, the advising of undergraduate students and senior design projects, and/or coordinating academic affairs and curriculum development, or coordinating student engagement and program outreach as related to the Mechanical Engineering undergraduate program in MIE.

Minimum Qualifications:

Master's in Mechanical, Aerospace, Nuclear or Robotics Engineering; two to five years of experience or more, including graduate study; proven ability to teach core mechanical, aerospace and/or nuclear engineering courses and laboratories in one or more areas of Thermal/Fluid Science/Systems, and/or Mechanical Systems. Abilities to teach Manufacturing Processes, and/or Robotics, and/or use and teach engineering tools such as Computational Engineering (e.g. FEA, CFD), Computer Aided Design and Engineering Drawing, are highly desirable. Laboratory management and teaching assistant supervision and training skills will also be highly regarded.

Preferred Qualifications:

Ph.D. in Mechanical, Aerospace, Nuclear or Robotics Engineering.
