Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of utility technicians.
  • Follows company Environmental, Safety, and Health (ESH) guidelines
  • Receives assignments that are broad in nature requiring appreciable originality and ingenuity for successful completion.
  • Oversees the operation, maintenance, and repair of the Plant Utilities Systems, including the maintenance of the HVACs & fans on the roofs, boiler room & plant steam systems, ammonia refrigeration systems & plant cooling systems, air compressors & plant air systems, fire system, water systems and waste water.
  • Ensures the safe operation of the Plant Utilities Systems, and adherence to safety regulations.
  • Ensures the proper maintenance and repair of all utility infrastructure.
  • Performs or oversees repairs and installations, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
  • Ensures efficient and cost-effective operations.
  • Analyzes data and implements corrective actions to optimize efficiency and reliability.
  • Reviews and maintain regulatory compliance reports.
  • Oversee the Process Safety Management (PSM) program and documentation ensuring the integrity, accessibility.
  • Management of CAPEX projects within the Utilities / Facilities areas. Plan, execute, and monitor the progress of capital projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
  • Responds to and resolves utility outages, leaks, and other emergencies.
  • Oversee the daily operations and maintenance of buildings, ensuring they are safe, functional, and well-maintained.
  • Identifies and addresses potential problems to prevent future issues.
  • Communicates and collaborates effectively with utilities staff and other plant personnel.
  • Schedule and oversee routine maintenance and ensure the reliability of incoming power distribution electrical systems.
  • Review and approve Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for various utilities plant equipment repairs, overhaul and preventative maintenance.
  • Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide training and guidance.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
  • Strong understanding of industrial machinery, maintenance practices, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Directs and coordinates the work of utility maintenance staff.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Desired Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in related field is preferred.
  • Certified Industrial Refrigeration Operator (CIRO) is preferred.

Danone has entered into an agreement to sell its Swedish probiotic fruit juices brand, ProViva, to the French dairy group Lactalis.
