**This role has a hybrid work structure and can be based at one of the following locations: Manhattan, NY; Scottsdale, AZ; Las Vegas, NV; Miami, FL; or Chicago, IL.**
SUMMARY:
The role of the IT Project Manager, Applications is to develop and deliver IT applications projects on time, within budget, with high stakeholder satisfaction while also delivering on the values and goals defined by Project Charters. This includes utilizing resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver project according to plan. The Project Manager will also work with the project and IT owners to define the project’s objectives and oversee quality control and value realization throughout the project lifecycle.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Project Management:
- Owns the development & management of IT related project charters, funding documentation, project plans, budgets, issues, changes and risks, revising as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
- May own or assist in RFI, RFP development and vendor selection.
- Manages complex projects by ensuring alignment of all project dependencies, milestones & deliverables.
- Manages Agile (nice to have), Hybrid (preferred) and Traditional (waterfall, required) project
- Ensures that IT project plans are aligned with the requested timelines and goals for deliverables.
- Manages IT projects in line with the defined project governance and processes for risk, issues, change & quality management, and ensures accurate and compliant document management.
- Reviews deliverables before passing to sponsor.
- Manages IT project budgets, reporting on actuals, estimates to complete and estimates at completion.
- Ensures that all IT projects utilize and are compliant with the established project methodologies & standards.
- Ensures the required contributions from project stakeholders and supporting resources to deliver IT projects to plan & budget.
- Manages the day-to-day operational aspects of IT projects including:
- Maintaining the project plan, schedule & budget, identifying and managing any variances.
- Reviewing project deliverables and providing project status reports weekly.
- Identifying resources needed and assigning individual responsibilities.
- Managing resources to ensure delivery of requirements within timescales, escalating & resolving issues as required.
- Preparing documents for project reviews and committee meetings.
- Chairing project reviews & committee meetings.
- Measuring and driving value realization.
- Tracks and reports hours and expenses from third parties.
Communication:
- Facilitates team and client meetings effectively
- Holds regular status meetings with project team and management
- Effectively communicates relevant project information to stakeholders
- Delivers engaging, informative, well-organized presentations.
- Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion.
- Understands how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully.
Technical Understanding:
- Possesses a general understanding of the platforms, software and programs that are utilized within Curaleaf.
- Develops and maintains a thorough understanding of Curaleaf’s capabilities.
- Maintains awareness of new and emerging technologies and the potential application on client
Leadership/Teamwork:

- Has a basic knowledge base of each client’s business, organization and objectives.
EDUCATION / QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be very detail oriented and organized.
- BS/BA degree in computer science preferred.
- 5 years direct work experience in a project management capacity, including all aspects of project management and execution.
- Experience with ERP implementations required.
- Experience in leading & managing complex projects involving internal business and IT staff and third parties
- Experience in leading & managing complex multi-project Programs
- Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Strong familiarity with project management software, such as MS Project.
- Strong understanding of application programming, database and system design environments
- Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.
- Ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Reacts to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently.
- Flexible during times of change.
- Ability to read communication styles of team members and contractors who come from a broad spectrum of disciplines.

Nevada Hiring Range
$106,000—$129,000 USD
