The Opportunity.

Hexaware's Data & AI practice is experiencing rapid growth, and we're on the lookout for a Senior Project Manager who has worked exclusively in Data & AI projects.

The Senior Project Manager will manage multiple projects within our client’s data & AI program. The role holder will work collaboratively with colleagues across the client’s business to drive projects delivering against agreed targets. 

We are looking for an experienced/senior PM who can pull together program plans, and tie together multiple work streams rather than just focusing on individual outputs.

Role & Responsibilities

• Possess 18 - 20 years of work experience as a Project Manager exclusively in the Data & AI industry.
• Strategic Project Planning: Lead end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of Data & AI projects. Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and success metrics whilst ensuring technical feasibility of proposed solutions.
• Technical Oversight: Must be hands on with cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, Databricks or Snowflake).
• Multi-Stakeholder Coordination: Serve as the central coordination point across complex stakeholder ecosystems, including multiple clients, hyperscaler partners, and internal teams.
• Agile Delivery Management: Lead agile development processes by facilitating Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Establish structured communication frameworks ensuring seamless information flow between diverse stakeholder groups whilst coaching teams on agile principles and removing impediments to progress.
• Resource Management: Responsible for leading all resources assigned to the project, setting clear objectives and managing performance on a project basis. Responsible for providing feedback on project performance to project boards as appropriate. 
• Foster collaborative environments that bridge technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring clear understanding of project goals and individual contributions.
• Risk Management: Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, including technical challenges, resource constraints, timeline delays, and data quality issues.
• Performance Monitoring: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor project progress, team productivity, stakeholder satisfaction, and partnership effectiveness.

Preferred Skills

• Project Management Professional (PMP)
• Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or SAFe Scrum Master (SSM)
• Azure AI Fundamentals (AI-900) or AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner
• Experience and understanding of managing new technology adoption by new business users.
• Client office two days a week.
