Graduate Diploma in Financial Management/CA/CWA/MBA(F)
At least 6 years’ professional/management experience in taxation and compliance
Strong understanding of transfer pricing regulations, international tax laws and their practical implications across jurisdictions
Good working knowledge of ERP systems, preferably PeopleSoft
Experience in preparing and reviewing TP documentation, benchmarking studies, P&L analysis, balance sheet review, reconciliations, etc.
Possesses strong analytical skills
Ability to interpret tax implications of business operations
Good interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders, external consultants, and auditors
Adherence to key controls and compliance requirements, understanding the implications of non-compliance
Ability to interpret and provide information to meet audit requirements, including internal, external and SOX audits
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex tax and TP matters clearly
Proficiency in MS Office applications and good overall computer skills
Willingness to travel and flexibility to work across different time zones or shift timings as needed
Responsibilities
Manage the transfer pricing function in India, ensuring intercompany agreements, the BEPS PeopleSoft tool and TP documentation are accurate and up to date
Oversee timely and accurate analysis of intercompany transactions and ensure compliance with local TP requirements
Ensure all tax filings and statutory reports are completed on time in assigned jurisdictions
Support the review and optimization of intercompany arrangements
Support tax authority queries, audits, and assessments; coordinating with external auditors and consultants where relevant
Drive process improvements, maintain updated SOPs, and ensure adherence to SOX requirements where required
Review / conduct benchmarking studies to support TP positions
Support tax structuring for new projects and intercompany transactions, including preparation of supporting agreements and documentation.
Role Purpose
Responsible for managing the transfer pricing function in India, ensuring accurate intercompany agreements, BEPS PeopleSoft tool usage and up-to-date TP documentation. Ensure compliance and operational efficiency through timely analysis of intercompany transactions, statutory filings, benchmarking studies and audit support.
