- A bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology requiring at least three years of university study, or a comparative evaluation issued by the Quebec Ministry of Immigration, Francization and Integration for degrees obtained outside Quebec; alternatively, three additional years of experience may substitute for this criterion.
- Eight years of experience in information technology.
- Eight years of experience as an organic analyst in systems development, maintenance, and evolution, including three years within the last five years.
- A cumulative 1,000 person-days within the last six years in systems maintenance, evolution, and development in a technological and organizational environment comparable to the Régie’s.
- Five years of experience as an organic analyst using the Web N-Tiers workshop or Microsoft Visual Studio .NET development workshop.
- Follow the methodology path and practices defined by the Régie, including the Green Guide derived from the Macroscope methodology.
- Participate actively in agile methodology activities, including preparing for and participating in reviews, retrospectives, daily stand-ups, and iteration planning.
- Propose, develop, and design organic solutions for different projects and inform organic architecture advisors of potential impacts on current operations.
- Act as a consulting expert for DGSA and VPTI stakeholders by providing specialized and strategic support.
- Design organic solutions that comply with the Régie’s development standards.
- Optimize developers’ working environment by preparing technical workshops, implementing appropriate tools, and continuously improving the development environment.
- Share development best practices and maintain and update a site of interest for developers.
- Analyze, investigate, and resolve complex problems, incidents, and alerts affecting the organic or technical environment.
- Provide proactive organic and technical support.
- Perform quality-assurance activities on code when required.
- Create proofs of concept to validate or demonstrate the feasibility of complex organic solutions.
- Approve requests related to security, magnetic space, and other aspects essential to environment compliance.
- Provide technology monitoring, support, supervision, and training relating to Microsoft .NET, Team Foundation Server, BizTalk, Oracle, development standards, and other technologies.
- Act as a specialist in development tools, organic standards, security models, and development standards used by the Régie.
- Recommend the acquisition of technology products and participate actively in their evaluation.
- Produce the required project deliverables, including implementation plans, quality-assurance reports, software components, test dossiers, production dossiers, deployment activities, operating guides, forms and requests for other VPTI sectors, and component-management documentation.
- At least six months of experience within the last three years with one or more of the following technologies: Oracle database or Teradata database, or an equivalent information system.
