Requirements
  • Degree in Design (Industrial or Apparel), or Textile Engineering
  • 5+ years' hands-on experience designing accessories or packs and bags
  • Hands-on experience coming up with tools and methods to assist in solving construction issues

Responsibilities
  • Creating innovative handwear and pack concepts to address the needs of athletes and guests
  • Working with Arc’teryx athletes, ambassadors, and other industry representatives to generate insights
  • Collaborating with other designers and activity experts to identify new opportunities in handwear and pack product ranges
  • Partnering with Design Developers to create patterns, mock ups, and prototypes
  • Working closely with Product Developers to document and develop resolved concepts with factory partners
  • Presenting at design reviews and seasonal stage gates, annual seasonal handoffs, and other product meetings
  • Contributing to the commercialization of innovative technologies, including materials, pattern/part shaping, and construction techniques
