Requirements
  • At least 2 years of sales experience is preferred.
  • An interest in interior design is required.
Responsibilities
  • Work directly with top interior design clients in the territory to educate, collaborate, provide samples, and sell.
  • Build client relationships and use client familiarity to obtain sales across all product categories and represented collections, with a special focus on custom products.
  • Work in the showroom and complete a minimum of 32 presentations per month, including appointments outside the showroom.
  • Drive client growth through comprehensive all-product presentations, new collection showings, project-specific meetings, and library updates.
  • Keep Territory and Showroom Managers informed of travel and client appointments, and accommodate outside sales calls with Holland & Sherry sales leaders and outside vendors.
  • Keep clients informed about all products and enter all activity into the customer relationship management system.
  • Work with Client Services to maintain quick, efficient, and accurate communication with clients about stocked products.
  • Work with showroom Junior Sales staff on all custom product sales.
  • Collaborate with the Showroom or Territory Manager to streamline day-to-day showroom operations.
  • Check daily updates, follow up on action items, maintain efficient email correspondence, conduct client outreach and daily client interactions and sales, and support the team.
