Requirements
  • Fast learner, A-player, great work ethic and ambitious
  • BS/MS/Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of industry mechanical engineering experience
  • CAD expert (3+ yrs in Solidworks preferred)
  • Machine design experience is required for this role
  • Extensive Mechatronics skills, specializing in actuation & sensing
  • Experience with FEA, vibration analysis, risk analysis
  • Rapid prototyping, CNC, sheet metal design, plastics molding
  • Electronics & PCB integration, connectors & wiring harness design
  • Experience with CAM, fabrication documentation, GD&T, vendor selection, materials sourcing, reliability engineering, structural analysis
  • Design-for-manufacturing, Design for assembly, tooling experience
  • Project management and planning, PLM, Jira & Confluence
Responsibilities
  • Generate new concepts to solve real-world challenges
  • Create reliable and scalable designs and concepts
  • Design and implement specifications for life-cycle testing
  • Design components for manufacturing and assembling
  • Provide input on all aspects of product development from brainstorming to final delivery
  • Welcome new challenges and work independently across disciplines to investigate issues and identify solutions
