Universal Audio specializes in high-quality audio recording and processing tools, including Thunderbolt audio interfaces, analog recording hardware, and UAD audio plugins. Their products are designed for professional musicians, recording engineers, and podcasters who need reliable audio equipment. The hardware, such as the Apollo series, works by connecting to computers via Thunderbolt, allowing users to record and process sound with minimal latency. The UAD plugins emulate classic analog equipment, enhancing the audio quality during production. Unlike many competitors, Universal Audio has a long history in the industry, dating back to 1958, and offers a unique combination of hardware and software that appeals to both individual users and commercial studios. The company's goal is to provide top-tier audio solutions that meet the needs of creative professionals, while continuously expanding their product offerings and maintaining strong customer relationships.
