Requirements
- Recent experience with Liferay 6.1, with Liferay 6.0 acceptable, for at least 2 years.
- At least 3 years of additional experience with earlier Liferay versions or another portal platform.
- At least 7 years of Java or Java Platform, Enterprise Edition experience.
- At least 5 years of Spring, Spring MVC, or Spring Remoting experience.
- At least 7 years of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript experience.
- At least 7 years of XML experience.
- At least 3 years of web services experience using SOAP and REST.
- At least 1 year of Velocity experience.
- At least 1 year of jQuery experience.
- At least 5 years of SQL experience; Oracle experience is a plus.
- At least 5 years of Hibernate, MyBatis, or iBatis experience.
- At least 1 year of Linux experience; Red Hat experience is preferred.
- Experience with Eclipse or MyEclipse.
- Experience with the Liferay IDE plugin for Eclipse.
- Experience with the Spring IDE plugin for Eclipse.
- Experience with Apache Ant.
- Experience with JUnit and Spring Mock.
- Experience with Subversion (SVN).
- Experience with WinSCP, PuTTY, or similar tools.
- Good understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, concurrency, and software engineering practices including version control, change management, unit testing, and documentation.
- Ability to communicate clearly, follow technical designs, and work with minimal supervision.
