How will this role have an impact?
The Senior Analytics Consultant, Value-Based Care will be responsible for identifying, translating, and delivering insights on the performance of healthcare providers delivering care to patients in value-based care programs. This role requires strong communication, critical thinking, problem solving, and leadership skills, and an ability to deeply understand analytic techniques through a business lens. Insights will be based on large and diverse data sources, including claims from payers and information gathered from internal surveys and trackers. This individual will work closely with delivery team members and leadership, as well as product and analytics teams to identify information needs, deliver reports, deliver actionable insights, and represent our analytic perspective to the business to drive client performance.
This role will report to Director, Strategic Analytics, Value-Based Care.
What will you do?
- Actively scope and clarify business questions, and deliver data-driven insights derived from both standard and ad-hoc analyses to internal and external stakeholders
- Coordinate and lead trainings for delivery team members and communicate best practices in using data to drive outcomes
- Define, establish, and lead the implementation of scalable processes and approaches to effectively measure and communicate progress in implementing programs and driving client-level performance improvement
- Plan and lead cross-functional projects to drive timely, accurate, and effective execution of key deliverables
- Communicate business needs and perspective to analytics and product teams
- Facilitate the gathering of data from customers and customer-facing teams using surveys, interviews, and other modes of communication
- Identify and communicate emerging analytic needs and collaborate with delivery team leadership, product, and analytics teams to design and deliver reports to meet said needs
We are looking for someone with:
- Strong written and oral communication skills, particularly the ability to convey technical information in an accessible and understandable manner
- Innovative and strong analytical problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences, as well as internal and external audiences
- An interest in Healthcare and Value-Based Care models
- 3-5 years in healthcare analytics or consulting role is preferred
- A bachelor’s degree in a related field to the role. Masters of Public Health, Health Care Management or other relevant advanced degree is a plus.
