Requirements
  • 10-15 years of experience as a mechanical or process engineer
  • Professional Engineer (PE) registration is strongly preferred
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing start-up environment
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Responsibilities
  • Developing P&ID's, equipment specifications, heat and mass balances, associated process calculations, mechanical layouts, vendor coordination, and hazardous operability reports
  • Troubleshoot and complete root cause failure analysis on assigned projects
  • Responsible for maintenance and development of calculation tools and some other document templates
  • Coordinate with a multi-disciplinary team for the development of conceptual design and estimates
  • Understand the project delivery process and help define project scope, goals, and deliverables
